/> Though it may not look any different, I made a slight overhaul of the website, and now you folks with WordPress blogs (and without) can make comments on posts. Because of the change, our RSS feed is located at http://lonelymonster.com/feed/ now, so if you were subscribed then you’ll want to switch it over.

We changed our contact info/location, since my wife and I are now, erm, married.

Let me tell you what I’ve been up to since May. The Men of Easy Company have been planning on releasing an album for a while now, but we’ve run into a problem. My hard drive died. A week later… my other hard drive died. The specifics are interesting, but I won’t go into them here. The important thing is that I have a copy of the album still, though it was not finished. It has been existing in a perpetual state of incompleteness. I’ve begun again on the cover art, and it will come out, but not for a while still. It looks like the track listing will be revised and new songs should be added by the time it is done, so it will be for the better, in the end. I look forward to its release, and will keep you up to date on any more changes.

In other news, I’m still on the hunt for new blood to join our ranks! Stay tuned.

Adding More Than Music To The Label

Everyday

release

school

short film

Side Distro page to the site to showcase any joint projects and artwork that we’d like to see do well. We are interested in the arts as a whole, not just music, and we realize there is value in many mediums around us. As we get the opportunity, we’ll be glad to put more up.

As the director of the short film “The Canberra Night Fighters” introduces his film:

This short film was made for school. Look for skewed Vietnam War references and pay attention to the black and white values. They always mean something. It was inspired by stories of the Vietnam War and “8 1/2.” Thanks to all those involved; the actors would help with sound and lighting when not in scenes, and spent hours in two nights (and mornings) filming it.

The short also ends with the Men of Easy Company’s “Coming To An End,” unreleased as of yet.

New Album, New Team for Electrohome

Electrohome

release

school

Electrohome has new members (besides Robert), and has started a new album, due out... yes, sometime...

Electrohome + the Chords has a full album of unrecorded material at this point. The Robster has a few more songs in the works to add to the band’s repetoir, and between scheduling a backpacking trip to Colorado, marriage, and finances, artwork for the new disc is beginning to come together. No sort of finality will come until the college school year starts up again, however, it goes something like this:

“Forward Movement”

How I Fall for You

Going on a Trip

I Don’t Know Nothing (without you)

On Down the Road

I Take the Wrong Way

Healthy Disposition

Fine, Fine, Fine

Places I’ve Been

Working Man’s Dreams

Train I Build

You may notice from the song titles that the theme is ‘travel’. The album title will be Electrohome + the Chords’ Thirsty Traveler Gospel Songbook, “fulfilling” the Lessons in Space EP released last year. The band won’t start recording until they hit the dorms, though. Go check out their hot drummer in the new photographs in the meantime.

In other news… Congratulations to Robert Eisenbraun; he’s engaged!

Also worth noting: congratulations to the band’s new bass player, Mr. Eric Larson, for making the cut. “We’re not shooting too high,” said Mr. Eisenbraun on the subject, “But we hope to be practicing much deeper from now on.”
