Ben Bruckner

Ben Bruckner is a man shaped by stories. Whether they be stories of close friends or stories of strangers, these stories have produced a unique brand of folk that gives the listener an unexpected experience through his characters’ struggles.
Ben has produced five albums between 2005 and 2007. These albums have wrestled with everything from stories from the Old Testament to the time Ben spent in Prague in the Czech Republic in 2006. His latest album is a collection of songs, both new and old, that push the envelope by tackling themes of control, repentance, patience, and restoration.
Ben’s blend of storytelling and acoustic flow is influenced strongly by the music of Del Barber and Aaron Espe and can be likened to that of later Johnny Cash without the country feel. Ben’s rich bass vocals produce a solid backbone for music that struggles through issues of depth and clarity.
